Google Business Profile Verification
Get your Google Business Profile verified without the third attempt
Google video verification is where most small businesses stall. We prepare the evidence, script the recording, and stay on the line while you film it.
- Our fee
- $399flat fee, complex cases quoted
- Platform cost
- Free. Google never charges for verification.
- Typical timeline
- 1 to 2 weeks in most cases.
Why this is harder than it looks
Verification looks simple until it is not. The video has to be recorded live, on site, in one unedited take, and it has to prove you actually manage the business rather than just stand near it. Fail it enough times and the profile gets suspended, which is a much harder hole to climb out of.
What we do
- Pre-flight audit against the rules that actually trigger rejections
- Listing data corrected before verification, since mismatches are what fail it
- Evidence pack assembled and checked before anything is filed
- A shot list and dry run for the verification video
- We stay on the call while you record
- Bing Places import once Google is verified, free, and most businesses never do it
- Apple Business Connect listing set up at the same time, also free
What we need from you
We ask for these up front so nothing stalls halfway through. Items marked required have to be in hand before we can start.
- Legal business name and signage nameRequired
- If they differ, that difference is often the whole problem.
- Photos of your signage and storefrontRequired
- Close-up of the sign, the building number, and street context.
- Address typeRequired
- Storefront, service-area, or home-based. PO boxes and virtual offices do not qualify, and we will tell you that before you pay.
- Proof documentsRequired
- State registration, business license, a utility bill under 90 days old, or your EIN letter. Name and address must match the listing exactly.
- Manager access to the profileRequired
- You stay the owner. We take the Manager role, and you can remove us in one click.
The steps only you can take
A few things genuinely cannot be delegated, because the platform requires the business owner personally. We schedule these, prepare you for them, and stay on the call.
- Record the verification video yourself, live and on site. Google requires the owner in the app, so we coach rather than film.
- Answer Google's verification call or enter the code they send.
- Click the Manager invite so we can work on the profile.
What we will not promise
- Google decides, not us. We guarantee correct, complete filings, never an outcome.
- Google chooses which verification method you get. Nobody can pick it for you, including us.
- Online-only businesses do not qualify for a profile at all. We will say so before taking the work.
Common questions
Does Google charge for verification?
No. Verification is free and always has been. Our fee is for doing the work and getting it right the first time. If you would rather do it yourself, the process starts in your Google Business Profile dashboard and we will happily point you there.
Why does my video verification keep failing?
Almost always because it did not prove management rather than presence. Google wants to see you unlock the door, open the register, or access the back office, filmed in one unbroken take that also shows your signage and street. Recording it as a tour of the room is the single most common reason it fails.
Can you verify a business that only operates online?
No, and neither can anyone else. Google Business Profile is for businesses with a physical location or a defined service area. Claiming an address you do not operate from is what gets listings suspended permanently.
